OVERVIEW:
World of Rods was published quarterly then bi-monthly by Apprise Media's Action Pursuit Group in California. Content focused on traditional rods and customs with modern conveniences. It competed against those magazines offering "kustom kulture" lifestyle content such as Ol' Skool Rodz and Hot Rod Deluxe. The title ended in January, 2011 and was then folded into Muscle Car Power magazine with the March, 2011 issue.

Apprise Media also published Drag Racer, Diesel World, Street Trucks, World of Rods and Muscle Car Power magazines. These titles were sold to Beckett Media LLC sometime in 2010 or 2011.
