address at 41 East 42nd St, New York. The title was published from July, 1956 to August, 1959. It was then re-titled as
Rod Builder (the
customizer moniker was dropped) in September, 1959, and then continued until June, 1960. This started as a small format magazine (5-1/2" by 8") but
then switched to full size in May 1959.
