OVERVIEW:
Street Rod Action was a re-titling of Rod Action magazine in 1989. The
publishing company,
Challenge Publications, was located in Canoga Park, California.
In May 1996, Street Machine magazine was folded into this title. The co-titling was kept until February 1998 when the Street Machine reference was dropped. Street Rod Action ended shortly thereafter.

The Standard Periodical Directory for only 1996 and 1997. Average monthly print production was
consistently reported as 70,121 issues. More information can be
