OVERVIEW
Rod & Custom had four distinct publishing periods: 1953 - 1971 (monthly), 1972 - 1974 (monthly),
1977 - 1980 (quarterly) and 1988 - 2014 (monthly). When it ended for the third time in 1980, Petersen published a series
of annual magazines under the Hot Rod brand from 1983 through 1999.
