OVERVIEW:
Travelin' 4X4s was published by E-Go Enterprises in Sherman Oaks, California. The publisher was Edward Goldstein, and
the editor was Andy Lightbody. It was a monthly magazine that focused on new domestic and foreign four-wheel drive and off-road pickups and trucks.
Other titles by this publisher included Travelin' Vans.
The title started in October, 1976 as Travelin' 4X4s Minis & Pickups. After eleven issues, it was re-titled as Travelin' 4X4s and Off-Road Vehicles, and at the same time picked up new editor, Jim Matthews.
Like its competitors in this space, the magazine was a general off-road oriented title and covered off-road racing events, road tests of Detroit and foreign 4-wheel drive trucks, off-road adventures and how-to articles.

A total of 43 issues were produced from October, 1976 through May, 1980. All cover images are complete except 5/77, Vol 3 No 6, Vol 3 No 7,
11/78 and 3/80.
