OVERVIEW:
Street Rod Pickups was published by Challenge Publications in Canoga Park, California. Content was largely focused on hot rodding pickups and trucks from the 1940s and 1950s. It started as an annual publication in 1991, went to quarterly in 1992, and then settled on a bi-monthly schedule in 1993. However, the title was short lived, and it ended in 1994.

OWNERSHIP:
The publisher was Edwin Schnepf, and the first editor was Eric Pierce. The company produced other street rod titles such as Rod Action, Street Rod Action and Fat Fendered Street Rods. All these street rod titles ended in the 1990s.
