The titles listed below are ones that we have identified but unfortunately have either limited information or incomplete sets of cover images. We continue to search for these images so that we may publish a complete set.
- B Scene (??? - 2008). This title was published by Buckaroo Communications and John Dianna. Content was aimed specifically at the tuner car show scene and related events including drifting, solo racing and drag racing. We are uncertain as to the start date, but the title likely ended in 2008 when all the other Buckaroo titles ceased production.
- Drifting. Published by the same folks who brought you Import Racer, this is likely the first publication dedicated to the sport of drifting. The editor was Edward Loh. Coverage included activities in both the U.S. and Japan.
- EuroTuner (2001 - 2012). This title was created when MaxPower was re-titled in late 1999. This occurred around the same time that Primedia purchased the automotive titles of EMAP-Petersen. Content was focused on European and U.S. cars under $30,000. A total of 126 issues was printed, and the title ended in May, 2012.
- Honda Sports Tuning. Little is known about this title. It may have been a limited series.
- Hot Compacts & Imports or HCI (2000 - 2008). Another title published by Buckaroo Communications directed at the tuner market. This title was differentiated by a focus on more in-depth technical and how-to articles. Content included both import and domestic cars, and it was also a lifestyle oriented title with a more social and cultural aspect. This title and many others ended in 2008 when Buckaroo closed.
- Hot Rod Honda. This was published by the good folks who brought us Super Street. It was likely intended to be competitive response to Honda Tuning from McMullen-Argus.
- Import Performance. A re-titling of Import Racer. Only three issues have surfaced from 2006.
- Import Racer. Published by Y-Visionary and Chris Yee. We believe this title had an earlier name, and issues have been found from 2000 to 2006. It also appears the magazine was re-titled as Import Performance for a few issues.
- MaxPower. This was a re-titling of MaxSpeed in late 1999. A total of 24 issues was printed, then the magazine was re-titled as EuroTuner in late 2001. Note: there was also a U.K. version of MaxPower.
- Modified Luxury & Exotics (2004 to 2008). This is another title started by Rob Laidlaw and his VerticalScope enterprise. Content was focused on performance upgrades to higher-end luxury and exotic cars.
- Project Car (2006 to 2012). This title was published by Primedia. A total of 24 issues were printed. The magazines featured project cars that were purchased then upgraded for greater performance. It had a lot of good build photos and technical information.
- Siphon (2006 to 2008?). A spin-off from Import Tuner, content was focused on tuners who loved the micro-compact segment.
- Street Power. This publication was issued by the editors at Super Street. We believe in started in 1996; the end date is unknown at this time.
- Street Racer. This title was published six times per year by Drive! Media. It started in the late 1990s; we are uncertain as to the end date.
- Traction. Little is known of this title, but it was started by Source Interlink Media. Online, many blogs referred to it as a "lame tuner" magazine.
- Turbo & Hi-Tech Performance (1985 - 2009). This title was started by Kip Kington in June, 1985. It originally had content that was 50-50 between domestic and import tuners. But when Michael Ferrara joined in 1994, content shifted almost exclusively to import vehicles. Mr. Kington sold the title to Primedia in 1999, and in 2009 it was folded into Modified Magazine.
