OVERVIEW:
Superauto Illustrated was a short-lived, full-sized 96-page magazine produced by Publications International Ltd.
in both Skokie and later Lincolnwood, Illionois. Content focused on supercars, vintage race cars, scarce muscle cars and
high-performance production vehicles. It was all about speed and performance!!
The original publisher was Louis Weber, but by December, 1986 he was replaced by Frank E. Peiler.
When the magazine ended its montly production in May, 1987, the publisher followed up with two special issues in 1987 and 1988.

PUBLICATION DATA:
The publisher provided net paid circulation data to Oxbridge Communication's compendium, The Standard Periodical Directory,
from 1988 to 1991. Annual print production was consistently reported as 240,000.
CONTENT COMPLETENESS:
A total of 19 issues was printed from July, 1985 through 1988. All images are complete.
