OVERVIEW:
This is the third iteration of this title The content focus was on custom cars and included hot-to's and biographies of key influencers in the
industry. It featured the latest technology yet honored traditional customs and styles. It was published by McMullen-Yee
quarterly starting Winter 1991. Publishing switched to bi-monthly in 1994 and
continued until its demise.
OWNERSHIP:
Tom McMullen was the publisher, and Ken Yee became his business partner in the 1980s. Other titles in the company's portfolio included
Street Rodder magazine.
In June, 1995, the title was sold to K-III Inc. (later Primedia) upon Tom McMullen's death earlier that year. It became part of the McMullen Argus publishing division.

PUBLICATION DATA:
McMullen and Primedia both provided net paid circulation data to The Standard Periodical Directory
from 1993 to 2005 (the last year for
which we have data). Average monthly print production ranged between 31,500 to 45,000 issues. More information can be

A total of 92 issues was printed from Winter, 1991 through March, 2007. All cover images are complete.
