OVERVIEW:
Classic & Special Interest Cars was first printed in August, 1980 by Challenge Publications. It was a re-titling of
Old Car Illustrated which focused on antique and collector cars including vintage race vehicles. When it was re-titled,
content expanded to include vehicles from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. The publishing schedule was
changed to quarterly, and numbering continued from its predecessor.
The publisher was Edward Schnepf, and he also published Rod Action, Street Rod Action, Off-Road, Air Classics, Sea Classics and other titles.

CONTENT COMPLETENESS:
Seventeen issues were published from August, 1980 through Summer, 1984. All cover images are complete, and we are still collecting table of content pages.
