OVERVIEW:
Auto Age magazine was
published several times a year in a large format from February, 1953 through August, 1956. The publisher was Martin Goodman, and the editor was
John Bentley. Bentley wrote several books including The Old Car Book, Antique Automobiles and
All the World's Cars 1954.
Goodman stopped self-publishing and distribution in 1956, and he switched distribution to American News Company (ANC). ANC requested he drop this title as it already managed several other automotive titles. Goodman only had a hand in this one automotive title.
