OVERVIEW:
European Car magazine is a re-titling of VW & Porsche.
With the re-titling, content expanded from Volkswagen-only coverage to British, Italian and German prestige brands. Feature
articles include new car reviews, tuning, review of classic touring and sports cars,
racing history and some do-it-yourself repair tips.
Originally published by Argus Publishers Corporation, European Car became part of the McMullen Argus Publishing division of K-III Inc. (later Primedia) in December, 1995. Subsequent titles owners included Source Interlink Media (2007 - 2014), TEN: The Enthusiast Network (2014 - 2017) and the Motor Trend Group (2017 - 2018).
Under the Motor Trend Group consolidation, the publisher had multiple and somewhat redundant titles: European Car, Road & Track, Car and Driver and Motor Trend magazines. So this title was eliminated in 2018.
