OVERVIEW:
Speed and Supercar magazine was the new name chosen when Speed and Custom
was re-titled. It was published every other month and had a shift in content from hot rods and customs to Detroit muscle cars and drag racing.
Content included how-to articles, road-tests for new muscle cars and the latest in racing and performance technology.
OWNERSHIP:
Walter Zacharius became a co-publisher with Irwin Stein in 1967, and the publishing company name became Magnum-Royal Publications. In 1973, Mr.
Zacharius became the sole publisher.

PUBLICATION DATA:
Speed and Supercar had only two years of publisher provided circulation data (1968 and 1969). But for these two years, it
held the #8 position in magazines printed and distributed among all automotive magazine titles. Average monthly net paid circulation
was reported as 31,164.

A total of 46 issues were printed from October, 1966 through February, 1974. All cover images are complete for this title.
