OVERVIEW Trend Books were published by Petersen Publishing. Issue #101 was printed in 1951, and each new
issue was numbered sequentially.
These were topic-specific titles that covered hot rods, customs, hi-fi stereos, antique cars, sports cars, glamour photography, guns, rock collecting,
model railroading and many other subjects.
Books were published until 1961 when Petersen rebranded these as
Spotlite Books. Four issues with non-automotive content, numbered H-101 through H-104, were
co-branded as Trend Spotlite to aid in this transition starting around 1960.
Below are just the titles with automotive related covers.
