Model Cars Illustrated

OVERVIEW:
Model Cars Illustrated was published bi-monthly by SMP Publishing Ltd, 4 West 40th St, New York. The editor was Donald G. Typond, and Maurice Murray was the publisher. It was published from November, 1963 through February, 1965. Only 11 issues were created.

Model Cars Illustrated joined the competitive fray at the same time as Model Car & Track and Model Car Science, and started one year behind Car Model. It contained good "how to" articles and had many features on both slot cars and model cars.
