OVERVIEW:
How To Soup-Up Your Car was a magazine published by Harle Publications in Canton, Ohio. Publishers were
Joseph Hardie and Ray Kelly who also published Speed Mechanics and Custom Craft.
The title appealed to budding hot rodders who wanted to get more performance out of their American vehicles, but most cars featured were from the late 1940s and 1950s. This title influenced the publisher's creation of Soup Up magazine.
