Best Hot Rods - Magazine Covers - 1960

Best Hot Rods was an early, large format style magazine published annually.  These were called "one-shot" publications in the trade.  This title was published by Fawcett Publications in Greenwich, Connecticut (although the first issue indicates the editors were from Mechanix Illustrated).  Magazines were 66 to 84 pages in length, and the first three sold for $.25.  This East coast publication had good coverage of Bonneville, drag racing, car shows, technical articles and feature cars.
